Hotwire Electric owner Hanna Taylor’s views on Success
Hanna Taylor the director of the renowned company Hotwire Electric when interviewed by journalist Andy Desantis talks about her success story in male dominant industry.
Hotwire Electric is the only one female-owned electrical company in Toronto and the lady behind its challenging success is Hanna Taylor. She not only took this small shop to a company of 20 electricians but also brought back company host of awards from well-known organizations such as Trusted Pros and Home Stars.
“Renovators, builders and contractors aren’t used to seeing a woman in the position that I am in. In order to be taken seriously, I’ve always felt I needed to know more, be quicker and smarter, and I am.” Taylor explains.
Hanna talks about the impressive website they have for Hotwire and how she keeps check on her work and growth through social media. She said Instagram and Linkedin has helped them to improve the quality of their work.
Although Hanna don’t have electrical background but she is always aware of the work done by her master electricians and uses her business knowledge to give a tough competition to the male in this industry through her good work and confidence.
“I’m not just a female in the office. I boss around 20 guys and I can’t do that effectively without the knowledge and understanding of the industry that I have,” she explains.
