Today, let’s dig deeper into how landscape lighting is also a crucial part in making your home more appealing and well-lit.
Hanna shared some great tips on how accent lighting can be used for exterior purposes:

One of the ways to do this, is to light up the staircases. This part of the interior lighting plan is often overlooked as they are not as prominent, but there is a wide range of staircase lighting options to choose from as Hanna explained.
Another essential element in wiring one’s home is the operating system. As the technology in home lighting has advanced much over the years, installing an automation system is no longer an unfamiliar choice.
“An automation home system can help you control the light, blinds, surround sound, alarms, security, … just by touching and adjusting from your keypad. This system makes it convenient for you to control most aspects of your home. The automation system has to be pre-planned before the installation.”
“Another feature of custom home that often get overlooked is the switches and the cover plates. There is a plethora of choices available upon request, or you can ask the electrician to design one that best fits for your home. The cover plates can match your wallpaper, your cabinetry, depends on what look you are going for.”
Pot lighting Redesigned
A great feature for spotlighting is to go outside of the box of the basic white trim. These recessed lighting can be used to accent and illuminate your home and specific areas. There are many alternatives to traditional pot lighting in a box.
“One of the options that we have is the modular fixture that holds many moveable potlights, this allows you to customize the lightened area of your space.”
