2014 is now long behind us, and upon reflection it was a fantastic year. It was full of new partnerships, exciting adventures and challenging projects.

But one of the things we are most thankful for is the Homestars Best of 2014 award. This is a direct result of the over 500 reviews and project comments that you, our clients, were kind enough to submit. It validated us and our efforts—not just as electricians, but as a company dedicated to helping people.

This little old electrical contracting company just won the HOUZZ’s Best of HOUZZ 2015 in the Service category.

The award itself is great, but what really excites us is the fact that our efforts to provide fantastic customer service are paying off.

Us folks at Hotwire just want to say a big, “Thank you!” We’re more than grateful and humbled by your continued support.

So we just won the Homestars Best Electricians Toronto award for the fifth year (which is a thing). AND we were interviewed by Canadian Contractor Magazine—which, in all honesty, is just as exciting.

But what does that really mean?

For you, it means that you received excellent service from us and weren’t shy about sharing it (thanks for that, by the way).

For us, it means that we need to stay alert and not get complacent. We got to where we are by taking our client’s feedback seriously. Our crews are exceptional, but it’s even more important for us to consistently understand customer needs and exceed expectations.

We’re not perfect, and we don’t claim to be. But we’re always striving to make the process more streamlined. How can we make the renovation go more smoothly? How can we take your lighting needs and design something that goes above and beyond?

Our three office managers and schedulers are critical in organizing our operations by ensuring all the paperwork is ready for the crews, the foremen all have proper material, and the electricians know all the project and client needs before he even steps foot on the site.

Time saved + money saved = fewer headaches.

The reviews we get from the home owners, builders, designers and renovators with whom we work are what make our awards possible. Electricians are a dime a dozen—so it’s incredible to know that so many people trust us year after year. This loyalty has made us who we are now.
